how to claim

Fogg Travel's commitment to you:

We will endeavour to reply to any correspondence within 3 working days. Once your claim is agreed we will normally send you a cheque within 3 working days.  84.27% That is an independently audited level of satisfaction that our Claims Department have received during the first 9 months of 2011 from clients making a claim. This resulted from Questionnaires sent out to claimants and sent back to the independent company.  Remember Travel Insurance has to work when you need it. 84.27% is a good reason to trust us with your insurance requirements.

Claim Forms

You can obtain a claim form online - click on 'claim forms' tab at the top of this page. Click on the relevant claim form(s) you require.

All Claims

You will need to submit your claim form with all supporting documents, such as receipts, written reports, written confirmations, holiday invoice, cancellation invoice, medical certificate(s), your insurance schedule or certificate if applicable. Please refer to your policy and the relevant claim form for details.

If you need to make a claim under the Cancellation Section:

If your cancellation is due to medical reasons, contact the treating doctor immediately, he/she will advise you on whether it is medically necessary to cancel. DO NOT request a Medical Certificate from the doctor at this stage, as our claims form contains a full Medical Certificate detailing the questions the doctor will need to answer.

You will need to advise the Tour Operator immediately that you are cancelling, and follow this up in writing to them. Tour Operators impose an increasing scale of cancellation charges the nearer to the departure date you cancel.

A cancellation invoice or letter will be raised by the Tour Operator that you will need to submit with your claim along with your booking confirmation invoice.

Medical Claims

Read the policy wording carefully. Whilst abroad you must contact the 24 hour Medical Emergency Assistance Service in the circumstances stated in your policy.

Contact our Claims Department on 01623 631331 between 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We will discuss your claim with you and give you advice on what to do.
